Codieshub

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Partnership Basics

  1. What does Codieshub specialize in?

We specialize in custom software and AI solutions. We build complex Web Applications, Mobile Apps, SaaS platforms, and bespoke AI tools to automate business processes.

  2. How is Custom Software different from off-the-shelf solutions?

Off-the-shelf software forces you to fit the tool. Custom software fits your specific workflow, offering better scalability, security, and full data ownership.

  3. Do you work with Startups or Enterprises?

Both. We build investment-ready MVPs for startups and modernize legacy systems or integrate AI for established enterprises.

  4. Will you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?

Absolutely. We respect your intellectual property and are happy to sign an NDA before discussing your project details.

  5. How do we get started? What does the onboarding process look like?

Our process begins with a "Discovery Phase." We don’t just start coding; we first audit your requirements, define the technical architecture, and build a roadmap. This ensures that before any contract is signed for development, we both have a crystal-clear understanding of the deliverables and timeline.

  6. Do you outsource your development work to freelancers?

No. We are not a broker for freelancers. We are a unified software engineering firm. Your project is built by our full-time, in-house developers, architects, and project managers who follow our internal coding standards and security protocols.

AI & Emerging Tech

  1. What kind of AI solutions can you build?

We build Custom LLMs (like GPT trained on your data), Predictive Analytics, Computer Vision systems, and AI agents for intelligent automation.

  2. Do I need a lot of data to start an AI project?

Not always. We can often fine-tune existing models or use APIs. We will assess your available data infrastructure during our discovery phase.

  3. Is my data secure when using AI?

Yes. We use secure cloud environments and private architectures to ensure your proprietary data is never used to train public models.

  4. Can you integrate AI into my existing website?

Yes. We can inject AI features into your current platform via API, whether it is a chatbot, a recommendation engine, or an automated workflow.

  5. How do you determine if my business actually needs AI?

We believe in value, not hype. Our R&D team conducts an initial feasibility study to see if AI will solve a specific pain point like automating manual data entry, predicting trends, or personalizing user experiences. If a simpler algorithmic solution works better and costs less, we will recommend that instead.

Software Services & Tech

  1. What technology stacks do you use?

We use modern stacks like Python, Node.js, and Go for backend; React and Next.js for frontend; and AWS or Google Cloud for infrastructure.

  2. Do you provide UI/UX design?

Yes. We have in-house designers who create user-friendly wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes before we write a single line of code.

  3. Do you build Mobile Apps?

Yes. We build native and cross-platform apps for iOS and Android using React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin.

  4. Can you take over an existing software project?

Yes. We perform a Code Audit to assess the current codebase and create a plan for refactoring and future development.

  5. Can you connect to my existing CRM or ERP?

Yes. We specialize in API integrations to connect your new software seamlessly with the third-party tools you already use.

  6. Can you help modernize legacy enterprise systems?

Yes, this is a core strength of Codieshub. We specialize in "legacy transformation", taking older monolithic systems and refactoring or rebuilding them into modern, scalable cloud-native architectures without disrupting your ongoing business operations.

  7. What technology stacks do you primarily use?

We use battle-tested, enterprise-grade technologies. For backend, we typically use Python (Django/FastAPI), Node.js, or .NET. For frontend, we specialize in React.js and Next.js. For mobile, we use React Native or native iOS/Android. We choose the stack that best fits your long-term scalability needs, not just what is trendy.

Process, Pricing & Support

  1. What is your engagement model?

We offer Fixed Price models for defined scopes (like MVPs) and Time & Materials models for long-term, evolving projects.

  2. Who owns the code?

You do. We operate on a "work for hire" basis. You own 100% of the Source Code and IP upon payment.

  3. How long does a project take?

MVPs typically take 4 to 8 weeks. Full platforms take 3 to 6 months. We work in Agile sprints to deliver demoable features every 2 weeks.

  4. How do we communicate during the project?

We use tools like Slack and Jira. You will have direct access to the project manager and receive weekly updates on progress.

  5. Do you handle software testing (QA)?

Yes. We perform rigorous manual and automated testing throughout the development cycle to minimize bugs before launch.

  6. Do you offer maintenance after launch?

Yes. We offer SLAs and maintenance packages to keep your software secure, updated, and bug-free.

  7. What happens if we need to change the project scope halfway through?

We understand that business needs evolve. We handle this through a formal Change Request (CR) process. If a new feature is added, we assess its impact on the timeline and budget and present it to you for approval. This ensures you maintain control over costs without being locked into a rigid plan that no longer serves you.

  8. What is your standard warranty or bug-fix period?

We stand behind our code. Every custom software project comes with a standard warranty period (typically 30–60 days) after launch. During this time, any bugs or defects related to our code are fixed at no additional cost to you.
