Node.js Development Services

Node.js is the backbone of modern, high-concurrency web infrastructure — from real-time APIs and streaming pipelines to microservices that must sustain thousands of simultaneous connections without breaking a sweat. Its non-blocking, event-driven architecture makes it uniquely suited for I/O-intensive workloads: chat systems, live dashboards, payment gateways, and data-intensive SaaS backends where latency and throughput are non-negotiable.

Codieshub has been building production-grade Node.js systems since 2016. Our senior engineers — all LatAm-based, operating in U.S. time zones — have shipped REST and GraphQL APIs, WebSocket services, serverless functions, and queue-driven worker architectures for clients across fintech, logistics, healthcare, and SaaS. We don't staff junior engineers on Node work; the engineers who write your code are the same engineers who review it.

Where many teams treat Node as a quick-start convenience, we treat it as a serious infrastructure choice. That means rigorous event loop management, correct use of clustering and worker threads, structured logging, observability hooks, and deployment patterns (containerized, Lambda, or bare-metal) that hold up under real load — not just in demos.

The challenge

Node.js is deceptively easy to start and notoriously hard to scale correctly. Unhandled promise rejections, memory leaks in long-running processes, misconfigured connection pools, and a single blocking operation that starves the event loop — these are the failure modes that surface in production, not in local testing. Most teams don't discover them until they're under the pressure of real traffic.

Our approach

We architect Node.js services with production pressure in mind from day one: async patterns enforced at the linting layer, graceful shutdown and health-check endpoints baked in, horizontal scalability modeled before a single route is written. Our engineers pair on code review with an explicit eye on event-loop safety, dependency security (npm audit gates in CI), and OpenTelemetry instrumentation so you have visibility from launch.

The outcome

Clients leave engagements with a Node.js codebase that passes load tests, ships behind a CI/CD pipeline they own, and is documented well enough that their internal team can extend it without us in the room. We design APIs for sub-100ms p95 response times under sustained load and validate against that target during pre-launch load testing — actual results depend on infrastructure configuration and downstream service latency. Codebases are observable, traceable, and built for the next order of magnitude in traffic.

How we deliver every sprint.

Our engineers are not freelancers, and we are not a marketplace. Dedicated Codieshub seniors, seated with your team.

Before kickoff

First-touch deep dive.

Pre-kickoff technical and strategic review.

Before a single line of code, we sit with your team to align on stack, constraints, and what success looks like. Our VP Eng, CTO, and senior leads join — not a sales engineer.

Questions

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

The questions we get on every intro call — answered without the marketing gloss.

  1. Dedicated Node.js engineers from Codieshub are typically priced in the $55–$95/hour range depending on seniority and specialty (e.g., a senior full-stack Node/React engineer versus a Node.js platform engineer with DevOps overlap). For a small team of two senior engineers, most clients budget $18,000–$30,000/month. Project-based engagements for a scoped API build are also available — typical mid-complexity API projects run $40,000–$120,000 depending on integration count and authentication requirements. We scope all projects in a free discovery call before any commitment.
