Kapital Bank is Azerbaijan's oldest commercial bank, established in 1874 and serving over 5M individuals and 22K corporate customers with $3.5B+ in assets.
After launching their customer-facing iOS and Android applications with us in 2016, they moved maintenance in-house and eventually returned when escalating infrastructure complexity and interdepartmental communication breakdowns started to delay updates and degrade customer experience.
After moving maintenance of the customer-facing apps in-house, Kapital Bank encountered growing technical debt and skill gaps that created operational bottlenecks.
The bank needed more than maintenance fixes — comprehensive process modernization, workforce development, and a sustainable workflow enabling rapid feature evolution while maintaining service reliability for millions of users.
